Tonight, Monday 7 April at 9pm, sees the beginning of a 3 part-series on BBC Four Rule Britannia! Music, Mischief & Morals in the 18th century exploring how music touched the lives of everyone in 18th century Britain and changed the story of the country.
We spent a very happy day filming for this back in January, at the glorious Addington Palace. So while you can see the official production stills on the BBC website http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b040mrmr/galleries, here are a few of our own images taken on site showing the action up close.
We were joined for the filming by none other than soprano Anna Christy, counter-tenor Iestyn Davies, and tenor Allan Clayton. And, as you’ll see, Christian Curnyn sported his best velvet suit, all in the name of televisual beauty.
