We are delighted to announce our upcoming performances of Handel’s magnificent opera ‘Giulio Cesare’ at the prestigious Grange Festival in summer 2026.
A brilliant showcase of Handel’s genius, Giulio Cesare is one of the composer’s most celebrated operas: a story of power, passion and political intrigue. The production marks an exciting milestone as it brings Christian Curnyn’s acclaimed period expertise to one of the UK’s most prestigious opera festivals.
Directed by the award-winning David Alden, this vibrant new production stars Tim Mead as Cesare, Sarah Brady as Cleopatra, and will be conducted by artistic director Christian Curnyn.
Performances of Giulio Cesare will take place at The Grange Festival, set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, in June 2026. Booking opens 10th February 2026.
