Samuel Boden and Ashley Riches are the eponymous brothers – one mortal, one immortal. Sophie Junker and Katherine Watson sing the strong roles of Phoebe and Telaire, with Callum Thorpe as the indomitable Jupiter and Zachary Wilder in the dual roles of Mercury and the Athlete.
Conducted by Christian Curnyn, the Orchestra and Chorus of Early Opera Company are in full force as we tackle this intense tale of brotherly love and sacrifice. This is a rare chance to hear this passionate and bold baroque opera in a concert performance.
